Panelist FAQ's

What's the difference between a panelist and a speaker?

They're the same. Don't over think and confuse yourself. You'll be on a panel, however you have individual times to speak. Is that better?

What time should I arrive?

We ask that all panelist arrive atleast 30 minutes prior to their tour stop.

Are there tickets to purchase or admission at the door?

Tickets for the IDKMOS Tour are never sold at the door and only available online via our website or eventbrite.

Is this strictly an event for women?

While the IDKMOS Tour is catered to women, men are allowed.

I have other things to do the day of the event, what time do I speak ? Can I get a outline of the event schedule?

We ask that all panelist be prepared to be at the event start to finish as guest are coming to see and support you as well. While the IDKMOS event coordinators have a set outline for each tour, it's not released to the Panelist until they arrive for their tour stop.

Can I make my own marketing material?

No. In an effort to stay uniform & protect the IDKMOS brand we provide all panelist with standard marketing material to promote the event they are speaking on.

*Any Panelist who uses the IDKMOS logos/ designs without permission will forfeit their opportunity on the tour.*

Can I bring my own photography/videography?

No. Due to the sensitivity of some of the speakers stories the IDKMOS Tour does not allow videoing at all. Pictures can be taken on camera phones. Official pictures will be available on each tour stop.

A small investment may be required.

Will I be compensated as a panelist?

Yes, but not financially. Panelist gain immediate access & exposure to our network connections that are far more than any dollar amount.

Is this a Q & A panel or do we each get a chance to individually present ?

Each panelist is allowed up to 20 minutes to share their story of times they didn't know their own strength & how they used adversity to build their testimony, brand or business.

We do open the floor to guest to ask the panelist questions as well.

Be you. Be authentic. Be creative. But don't overthink it.

Is there a dress code?

No. However we recommend business casual.

I need music, a projector, etc. Is this available ?
