They say if you want to keep something from a black person put it in a BOOK....
The youngest of 4 children, of which her siblings are almost 20 years her elder, Shaunesi DeBerry, thought she had the best of both worlds by having so many adults around her to spoil her. However, as she grew into a woman and experienced the DMV as one of the few of many of her cousins from the south to actually leave North Carolina, she learned the importance of giving children a childhood that they don't have to recover from. After a mutually failed marriage, Shaunesi took her small daughters and relocated alone to Prince George's County. She immediately learned that the wealthiest county for African American's needed a lot of TLC in the wealth of the education and quality of education for the children. Shaunesi has challenged everyone from teachers, County Executives, Governor Hogan the U.S. Department of Education and more on how to effectively make sure Prince George's County's education system matches it wealth slogan.
Shaunesi completed all of this with only a high school diploma. However, Shaunesi, is currently in school at the University of Maryland Global Campus with an anticipated graduation date of Summer 2022. Her children are now homeschooled with her oldest Madisen graduating from high school two years early. Shaunesi plans to now go on to Law School to practice Complex Litigation and Civil Right Law. But for now, she's a constant contact for children, parents, and employees in Prince George's County who aren't happy with what the county has experienced for over a decade.
About Shaunesi the Protector
The Mind & Voice of the Child
Shaunesi has a strong passion for and advocates for giving children a childhood they don't have to recover from. Inspired by her father, a former educator, Shaunesi learned that the mind of a child is a sponge and very delicate. Generational Curses, Religious Ignorance, and Greed in America by BOTH African American's and other races has and is taking a major toll on children who don't have parents that know how to measure their children and understand their rights. Additionally, Shaunesi is a strong advocate for children having a voice. If you listen soft enough they will tell you what they need.
Vision
Shaunesi hopes to bring her non-profit Women Wear Pants Too Inc. a non-profit enriching the lives of Women, Single Mothers, and Survivors of Domestic Violence to Prince George's County MD in the future by opening an enrichment center. Shaunesi's non-profit has hosted tri-state back to school, Thanksgiving, and Christmas give aways for over a decade, assisted with resumes for moms, business opportunities, and resources for Domestic Violence Survivors.

In 2021, mental slavery is DEFINITELY a choice. Especially in the wealthiest county for African Americans.
